the wonderful days of luxury club.

My work has been and always will be working with humans. No matter what my job title (babysitter, stable hand, bank teller, waitress, master *hair stylist, mom, homemaker, designer) whatever my state of mind, body, soul, spirit or mood, regardless of my current degree of healing, I aspire to live authentically, being who I am, whose I am, and also who I am becoming, all at the same time. In sharing my experience, I invite more humans to join me on the journey, staying active in pursuit of our highest selves. Let us #staylive.

"It is vital that you don't scold yourself but self-praise for having the courage to face the truth." from the book The Universe Has Your Back

the Journey

"It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become.  It takes a long time.  That is why it doesn't often happen to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept.  Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.  But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand." -a favorite passage from the Classic Velveteen Rabbit

she was beautiful for the way she thought.she was beautiful for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved.she was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile even if she was sad.no, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks.
